My thoughts and views on world issues, national issues, local issues, music, football, my life and the strangely beautiful, yet fallen, world around me

I noticed that one of the Google ads down the side of the JU homepage was advertising Anti-Bush bumper stickers.

Does anyone else find this as amusing as I did and does anyone think it represents the views of the JU ownership?

I have noticed a trick by experienced bloggers who reply to their own posts to get the ball rolling, so I'll try it this time

I don't understand this ball rolling forum bump thing at all.

But anyway, I've seen more rightwing, Republican Party-type ads here as well. I think the ju ownership may be trying to keep some modicum of balance so the dems don't complain that this really is a rightie blog site. I dunno. Maybe their trying on a costume for Halloween. Fact is, this really is a rightwing blog site, not matter how hard they try to diguise it.

I seem to be getting that impression from the general comments around and about. Maybe its because the right wingers are a lot more aggressive and shout the loudest, therefore get heard the most

speak softly and carry a big stick i suppose.

I have to wonder if JU just needs money and will let google advertise all they want. It was an an advertisment for a political product so i suppose it worked well for the site. I try not to read much into the ads around here - there aren't that many and i dont see it as important.
